Athletics

Head-Royce offers a comprehensive and competitive athletics program for students in grades 6-12. The Upper School program includes 26 teams offered in 11 different sports, with 67% of our student body participating. Our Upper School teams have won 36 league championships and earned 28 scholastic team awards in the last 5 years. The Middle School program has grade level teams in 10 different sports, with 75% of our student body participating.

Facilities

Head-Royce Athletics utilizes some of the best on-campus facilities in the east bay. Our facilities include our gym, turf field, swimming pool, tennis courts, turf field, baseball/softball diamond, fitness room, outdoor courts and ANBA practice field. Venues that we use outside of campus include Mills College at Northeastern University , Merritt College, and Corica Golf complex.
